My Life In Hell

Why does someone you've just met insinuate themselves into your life and insist on interfering,minding your business, making helpful suggestions when it's not wanted and they don't know what the hell they're talking about, as a way of not getting their hands dirty, actually doing something to help? Why does someone volunteer when they are'nt doing anything beneficicial and it's clear it's only to ease what loosely passes for a conscience, and it's all for show none of it's real?
