My Life In Hell (The Ugly Truth)

It's all about conformity. If you don't fit in you're excluded, ignored, ostracized. The members of the N.Y.C. Parks and Recreation centers, Fort Hamilton center know all about that. Why does anyone born after 1940 and new to this country think they have the right to lord it over someone? Where does this idea of entitlement come from? If they are'nt freezing out a newcomer they feel is an interloper and doesn't belong, their schmoozing to gain favor with one another. And if someone like Louie says hello, which seems to be obligatory; he takes it as a sign of disrespect if all you do to acknowledge him( if one is busy and in the middle of something) is say yeah, yeah. It's alright for him to interfere with what you're doing, but for you not to stop in the middle of what you're doing is a crime; but if you need help he puts up a verbal wall, so you can't get a word in edgewise.
