My Life In Hell
The decisions that are made boggle the mind. The decision to build a mosque where the World Trade Center used to be; the decision by the N.Y. historic preservation society not to give a 150 year old building landmark status even though it had distinct and ornate decorative features that were worth preserving. The fact that the building alone is 150 years old makes it worth saving. Too much history is lost all for a structure that will bring divsivness and will serve only one segment of the population. Meanwhile another piece of history is lost yet again. The only time these selfish bastards remember history is when it comes to their own twisted revisionist version of history. Which they fail to remember anyway. What is that expression, those who fail to remember history are condemned to repeat it, or words to that effect? Idiots never learn. We have already lost Penn Station, and would have lost Grand Central Station and all it's splender if it had not been for the wisdom and intervention of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis steping in to save it.
